Welcome to the Staunton Unit School Library where students can explore and enjoy the resources available. The Library provides a quiet atmosphere for students to use before, during, and after school. The library is shared between the elementary school, junior high school, and the high school.
The library has an online catalog called Athena which contains all our books, DVDs, and other media. This catalog can be accessed on any computer connected to our school's server.
Staunton High School is a member of the Lewis and Clark Library System and therefore has access to a database of all Lewis & Clark libraries -- almost 2 million titles. Books and other media requested from other libraries are delivered to our library once per week.
We currently have over 16,000 volumes, over 700 DVDs and videos, electronic databases via the Internet, and a variety of newspapers and magazines. The library provides a place for recreational reading, research and study. The library staff is available to you to assist with research or to answer any questions.
